What is Pack 436?

We are excited you are interested in joining our Pack.  A Cub Scout Pack consists of several dens which are grouped by school grades.  (K = Lion, 1st = Tiger, 2nd = Wolf, 3rd = Bear, 4th = Webelos I and 5th = Webelos II)  We are a family pack which means boys and girls get to work side by side to accomplish achievements.  We have students who join us primarily from Peoria and Deer Valley school districts.  

Each month we usually have 2 den meetings and 1 pack meeting.  The pack is led by our Cubmaster who oversees our pack and focuses on organization and planning with the leadership team.  Each den is led by a den leader who focuses on the boys and girls in a particular grade.  The Cubmaster and all adults in leadership are volunteers and are usually parents of scouts in the pack. All Leaders and Committee members are registered volunteers with the Scouts BSA and are required to complete appropriate training, including mandatory annual Youth Protection Training.

ALL of our meetings are held at Legend Springs Elementary School (21150 N Arrowhead Loop Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308) on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm.  All dens meet for den meetings at the school; so, if you have multiple kids, they will all meet at the same place at the same time.  The pack meeting gathers all the dens together to recognize scouts for their accomplishments during the month, to perform skits and songs they’ve learned in den meetings, and to have fun with the entire family.  

All of our adventures are for the entire family!  We try to go on different adventures each year.  A few that you can count on: pinewood derby, 2 campouts, and hiking.  We also have gone on adventures to various museums, parks, zoos, USS Midway, picnics, and many more.  We are open to any and all adventures that will bring families together.
